Validus is a specialist management consultancy which offers a unique, expert service to companies receiving credit hire and repair claims. We are looking to recruit a number of bright individuals to assist in the objective validation of claims on behalf of our clients.
The successful applicants will provide claims analysis and negotiation functions as part of a bespoke, highly specialized claims analysis process and fulfill a role that stands at the core of a highly technological offering.
The role involves the detailed examination of payment packs, the assessment of key claims data against a template of industry standards, the compilation of correspondence either incorporating our settlement proposals or seeking outstanding information and the negotiation of claims to settlement with the Claimant’s Representatives.
Work experience requirements include:
- Experience negotiating general insurance claims through to settlement desirable but not essential
- Motor claims experience an advantage
- Strong negotiation skills
- A high level of computer literacy
- Intelligence - to understand the credit-hire system, to learn the regulations and
case law
- Confident with a good telephone manner
- Inquisitive / analytical
- Precise / accurate / attention to detail
- Discrete and determined
