Cost control is maximised if the third party uses your suppliers for hire, repair and injury services. That’s why with CMAS we attempt to contact the third party using an instruction from your own FNoL team. Where required, we work from partial information and use tracing technology to assist in reaching the often elusive third party.
If we’re successful at getting the claimant to use your suppliers, we can also manage and validate the resulting invoices. If we’re unsuccessful, we send a Copley letter to cap the limit of your liability, and the MAS process is then used to manage the claim and analyse the resulting payment pack.
